USA Cycling's 2025 Annual Impact Report shows increased participation, younger membership, and a promising path to the LA28 Games.

USA Cycling has released its 2025 Annual Impact Report, highlighting a year marked by strong domestic growth, international success, and continued investment in the future of American cycling as the organization builds toward the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The report builds on the strategic plan released earlier this year, outlining USA Cycling's key priorities and roadmap through 2028.

“The state of American bike racing is strong,” said Brendan Quirk, President & CEO of USA Cycling. “Together we’re working to grow the sport on a local level, while pursuing excellence at the LA28 Olympics and Paralympics.”

Coming off a historic performance at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, USA Cycling carried that momentum into 2025, turning elite success into meaningful growth across every level of the sport, powered by a strong and diverse grassroots community. Mountain bike racing saw larger field sizes nationwide and continued momentum as one of the sport’s fastest-growing disciplines. National Championships also experienced a 10% increase in participation across 19 events. At the same time, USA Cycling’s membership, now 70,000 strong, is trending younger, signaling a promising future for the sport.

Quirk continued, “We feel deep gratitude for the race organizers, club managers, sponsors, officials, mechanics, and parents who bring bike racing to life across the USA. We are here to serve you, and we’re looking forward to amazing season together in 2026!”
